An Experiential guide to telling a story!
Join Grace on a creative journey into the realm and the artistry of story development. Using the introductory example of a folktale, Grace provides the structural framework for crafting stories orally. Each chapter focuses on a specific aspect of story development and is followed by a series of exercises. Each of these exercises are specifically designed to further assist you in experiencing the art of developing stories. Discover the power of story and the richness of your unique voice in the art of storytelling and story development, be it folkloric or original.
While the emphasis of this book is on oral tradition, it's structure and format can easily be adapted for literary development.
Using her original choreography Andrea Nightingale joins Storyteller Grace Wolbrink in combining storytelling and dance.
Grace and Andrea are the dynamic duo that makeup Storyographers. The storyteller also known as Mom and the Dancer also known as daughter share their love of stories and dance in new and empowering ways. Come join the story.

GRACE WOLBRINK - STORYTELLER
Residing far below Michigan's Mackinaw Bridge, Grace delights audiences of all ages with her modernization and vivid retelling of traditional folktales, original stories and historical tales.
Whether her stories are in oral or in literary form, Grace captures and propels forward the captivating realism of story’s compelling journey.
Through her personal journey into the world of storytelling, Grace came to realize the stories we tell are a part of us. A part of who we are as unique individuals, immersed in the reality of our own lives. It was not, as she had previously thought, the memorization of someone else's, literary, or written words. The true power of story lies in the unique expression and artistry of one's own voice.
Grace invites you, to join her, on an engaging journey into the realm of story's vivid realism and adventurous unfolding. For in story, as in life, its characters are as outlandishly adventurous, deviously mischievous and outrageously zany as any of us truly are.
